The face behind the story

My name is Marina Škunca. My entire career has been dedicated to working with children and young people. After graduating from the University of Zagreb, I spent twenty years working as a teacher in secondary schools. This invaluable experience gave me a profound insight into the daily challenges faced by teenagers and their parents.

After two decades in the classroom, I felt it was time for a major change of direction. I set up my own business, soon left my teaching position, and stepped fully into the world of entrepreneurship. Over time, this venture grew into Sentenca Ltd, the company I successfully run today.

It was this independent professional journey that guided me to where I can contribute the most: providing direct support to families. To complement my life experience and maternal instinct with the very best professional tools, I became a certified life coach (holding licences from the Inga Rock Academy and the John Maxwell Team). I further deepened my expertise by focusing on individual strengths and solution-focused approaches, completing training in positive psychology at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania.

I firmly believe that changing the world for the better begins within our own four walls – in the way we speak to our children. That is why I am here: to offer a helping hand to every parent who has ever quietly asked themselves, "Am I doing this right?".
